Nothing beats the simple charm of daisies. These deceptively simple blooms pack a punch when details are captured and placing them together really puts a smile on my face. Love these!

When roses sprung up all over my home. May each bloom put a smile on a face, brighten each gloomy day and herald forth love for all!

When roses sprung up all over my home. May each bloom put a smile on a face, brighten each gloomy day and herald forth love for all!

These fingers of mine have been growing loads of blooms of late, especially roses. To me, roses are never the easiest flower to create as those curves are deceptively tricky. Placement and curvature take loads of time. Nonetheless, I am very pleased that this exercise in making roses of all sizes have helped me come to a better appreciation for this bloom. Looking forward to having them bring joy soon!

Making paper blooms really is a labour of love and patience. I love capturing the fine details of flowers and this translates into taking more time to create each bloom. I can't rush the process and realise that making flowers really helps me in character building too. My patience is really tested and I am challenged to truly enjoy every step of the process.

Today I am grateful for all the beauty that surrounds us in Singapore. I am especially thankful for all the greenery that @nparksbuzz adorn our country with. A throwback to when I had the opportunity to teach pink mempats. Truly, there are so many beautiful flowers in singapore. We only need to observe and notice. Happy birthday Singapore!

It was truly a work of heart as I cut, painted and shaped each petal. Having my kiddos with me as we spotted them in the stores was certainly memorable.
